Privacy Policy

Last modified:  February,  2012

This is DoctorCom, Inc.’s (“us” or “we”) online Privacy Policy (“Policy”).  This Policy applies only to activities we engage in on the mdcom.com website (the “Site”) and does not apply to DoctorCom activities that are “offline” or unrelated to the Site.  To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. By using the Site you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use or access the Site.  If, at any time, you have additional questions, please contact us as described in the Questions section at the end of this Policy. Please note that your use of our Site is also subject to our Terms of Use.

Information We Collect.

In order to better provide you with our services, the Site collects personal information about its visitors.

Personal information includes information that lets us know the specifics of who you are and can be used to identify, contact or locate you.  It also refers to information that you provide us when you are using our services.  Personal information is also requested when you correspond with us, or otherwise volunteer information, for instance, through the use of other services on the Site.  Personal information can include, among other things, your name, mailing address, credit card number, Social Security Number, zip code, Tax ID number, telephone number, email address, USER ID, password, and other identification and contact information.

In addition to the personal information identified above, we automatically collect certain information that does not identify a specific individual by itself or in combination with other information. We gather certain information about you based upon what you view on the Site in several ways. This information is compiled and analyzed on both an individual and an aggregated basis. This information may include the  website’s Uniform Resource Locator (“URL”) that you just came from, which URL you next go to, the pages on our Site that you view, what browser you are using, and your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address. A URL is the website address for a particular website. An IP address is an identifier for a computer or device. Essentially, an IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the Internet, allowing Internet servers to locate and identify your computer. Computers require IP addresses in order for users to communicate on the Internet, browse and shop.

Our primary purpose in collecting personal information is to provide you with a finely customized and tailored experience. This allows us to provide services and features that most likely meet your needs.

In general, you can browse the Site without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself.  Once you give us your personal information, you are not anonymous to us. If you choose to use our services, we may require you to provide contact and identity information, billing information, shipping information and other personal information as indicated on the forms throughout the Site. Where possible, we indicate which fields are required and which fields are optional. You always have the option to not provide information by choosing not to use a particular service or feature, but certain portions of the Site and our services will be unavailable to you.

We use your financial information, including credit card information to verify the accuracy of your name, address, and other information, as well as to bill you for your use of our services.

We may track certain information based upon your behavior on the Site. We use this information to do internal research on our users' demographics, interests, and behavior to better understand, protect and serve you. As described above, this information may include the URL that you just came from (whether this URL is on the Site or not), which URL you next go to (whether this URL is on the Site or not), your computer browser information, and your IP address.

We use "cookies" on certain pages of the Site to help analyze our web page flow, measure promotional effectiveness, and promote trust and safety. "Cookies" are small files placed on your hard drive that assist us in providing our services. We offer certain features that are only available through the use of a "cookie". We also may use cookies to allow you to enter your password less frequently during a session. Cookies can also help us provide information that is targeted to your interests.  Most cookies are "session cookies," meaning that they are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of a session. You are always free to decline our cookies if your browser permits, although in that case you may not be able to use certain features on the Site and you may be required to reenter your password more frequently during a session.

If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on the Site, we may collect such information into a file specific to you.

If you establish a credit account with us to pay the fees we charge, we collect some additional information, such as a billing address, a credit card number and a credit card expiration date and tracking information from debit and ACH withdrawals, checks or money orders.

If you choose to post messages in our message areas or leave feedback for other users, we will collect that information you provide to us. We retain this information as necessary to provide customer support and troubleshoot problems as permitted by law.

No Information From Children Under Age 13.

If you are under the age of 13, please do not attempt to register with us at this Site or provide any personal information about yourself to us.  If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will promptly delete that information.  If you believe we might have any information from a child under the age of 13, please Email Us or call us at (855) 244-2737.
